As a school we realise the importance of seeing other cultures and to have hand-on experience of what we learn in the classroom. Because of this there are numerous outings during the school year.
As a school we visited Barcelona as well as Normandy.
Nearer home we visited the Cheltenham Art Gallery, went Ice skating, went walking in the Malvern Hills, visited the Lavender fields and searched for the well on Cleeve Hill to name just a few. Very exciting was our Go Ape! experience as a way of saying goodbye to Winston.
One of the highlights is the European Student Convention. As a school we have attended several times. ESC is an annual event for students following the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. Students have the opportunity to participate in a large variety of events (music, speech, art & design, Photography and sport) during the day and attend rallies in the evenings. The Convention allows students to discover and develop their God-given gifts. It is a time of fellowship with students, teachers and parents from around Europe, and a time of encouragement and inspiration at the rallies. The European Student Convention is an event not to be missed!
The 2009 ESC will be held 30th March - 3rd April. This time the venue will no longer be Oswestry, but Millfield School in Somerset. The theme this year is: Vessels For Honour - 2 Timothy 2 vs 20, 21.
