Our Preschool is for children aged three and over. As a school, we feel it is important to have the right foundations, and the building of Christian foundations starts when children are still very small. Our school offers your child the best start in every aspect of life.

Our Preschool programme is called “Preschool with Ace and Christi”.  Ace and Christi are the main characters used to represent young children in the Preschool: they grow with the students, and accompany them until they leave school at 18!

We are very confident about our tried and trusted curriculum: so much so that we can guarantee that if your child starts Preschool at the age of three, he or she will be reading within three years.

As a school we offer a three-year package. This includes two years at Preschool level and one year in the ABC’s class. Please ask for more information, as this really is a very attractive package!

Curriculum:

We use a Christian, Bible-based curriculum, as it is important for children to develop a Christ-centred worldview right from the start. We believe this world is God’s world, and that all things are under His command. The curriculum we use is called ACE, which stands for Accelerated Christian Education.

The Preschool curriculum is an excellent way of learning.  The child will learn the letter names through song, games and artwork. No writing is done at the Preschool stage. The programme has been tried and tested for more than 30 years and has been very successful in many countries. It is a very vibrant, colourful programme, full of learning activities, stories, and animals, that encourage the child’s desire to start reading. Your child will love it as much as we do!

Also included with this syllabus is a fun music CD that reinforces the lessons taught to your child, and a set of attractive display cards that will help him or her visually recognize the letter sounds.

The Preschool is designed to teach your child basic skills.  It will help to develop motor co-ordination, as well as language and social skills.  A Co-ordination and Development Test will take place several times during the Preschool year.
